Dr. Monica Resano graduated in Medicine at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in 1982, where, after the completion of her education in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, she also received the title of Specialist in Plastic Surgery, accredited by the Brazilian Federal Board of Medicine. In 1993, she was admitted as Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, a title of maximum importance, granted through approbation in the selection contest held by the Society.
Throughout her career, Dr. Resano has dedicated herself to both Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery, having extensive practice in Hand Surgery performed in Brazil as well as in France. Dr. Resano has been in this area of surgery for 22 years as a member of the Clinic Staff of Hospital São Vicente de Paulo in Rio de Janeiro.
