Dr. Monica Resano graduated in Medicine at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in 1982, where, after the completion of her education in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, she also received the title of Specialist in Plastic Surgery, accredited by the Brazilian Federal Board of Medicine. In 1993, she was admitted as Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, a title of maximum importance, granted through approbation in the selection contest held by the Society. Throughout her career, Dr. Resano has dedicated herself to both Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery, having extensive practice in Hand Surgery performed in Brazil as well as in France. Dr. Resano has been in this area of surgery for 22 years as a member of the Clinic Staff of Hospital São Vicente de Paulo in Rio de Janeiro.

Concurrently, Dr. Resano has been broadening her experience in Aesthetic Surgery in her own private clinics in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói, where she has been performing skin tumor surgeries, aesthetic surgeries, as well as other currently popular aesthetic noninvasive procedures such as peelings, fine-line and wrinkle fillings and botulism toxin injections, which complement the surgeon’s practices so efficiently. The constant pursuit of the combination of transparent ethic and successful surgical results within the most strict technical and safety patterns for her patients have been Dr. Resanos’s concern over the years.

The year of 2010 hab been a year of investment. Dr. Resano has made new improvements in her clinic facilities in Niterói aiming to provide an atmosphere which combines good taste, sophistication and comfort for her patients.
